2023 State Legislature Updates

With August summer recess in full swing for the US Congress and many states getting ready for students to return to school, many state legislatures are out of session for the rest of 2023. However, eleven states are still in session for 2023, and three are in special session.

Delaware - Special Session from July 1 - January 19, 2023, for Unfinished Business

Tennessee - Special Session August 21 - September 21, 2023, for Public Safety

Illinois - In Session till January 9, 2024

Massachusetts - In Session till January 2, 2024

Michigan - In Session till December 31, 2023

New Hampshire - In Session till January 3, 2024

New Jersey - In Session till January 8, 2024

Ohio - In Session till December 31, 2023

Pennsylvania - In Session till November 17, 2023

Rhode Island - In Session till January 1, 2024
